  12. I can't think of a gender-neutral term, but I think the effort is wonderful.
  13. Bob Franco and I recently edited/published a four-volume set entitled _Beyond
  14. the Classroom: International Education and the Community College_ (U of
  15. HI-Kapiolani CC, 1992) as part of an AACJC/Kellogg Foundation Beacon Project.
  16.  It includes articles from ten American community colleges.  The volume
  17. titles are: I. Internationalizing the Curriculum with an Asian-Pacific
  18. Emphasis, II. Internationalizing the Campus Environment, III. Creating
  19. Institutional Links in Asia and the Pacific, IV. Working with Local Business
  20. to Enhance Asian-Pacific Understanding.

  22. The emphasis in the volumes isn't quite the same as yours, but some of the
  23. information may be pertinent.
