  24. They will run under ESA 1.0 & ESA 370-feature.

  26. They will NOT however run under ESA 1.1, in fact VMBACKUP 5.3C which
  27. we run here will run for 15 minutes then craps out with a message to
  28. the effect of "You are not licensed to run with the ESA 1.1 feature"
  29. or something like that.

  31. In order to run your products under ESA 1.1 you will have to fork out
  32. some major dinero for the "new" line of VMCENTER II products which
  33. are distinguished by a /E on the end.. IE, VMBACKUP/E  etc.

  35. From what I've seen of these "new" products they are essentially the
  36. same as the old ones with a few new whistles and bells.  Oh, that
  37. and they allow you to run under ESA 1.1

  39. There is no *real* reason the older products can't work under ESA 1.1
  40. except they check the results from DIAG(0) and crash and burn if
  41. they find ESA 1.1 bits.
