  25. I agree with Cynthia.  We also allow consultants to use the library,
  26. including literature search services.  It is in the company's best interest
  27. to provide the consultant with the best information available so that
  28. they can make intelligent recommendations.  If we don't do it, either they
  29. will hire an independent information broker, muck around trying to find
  30. the information themselves, or simply do without the information.  Any
  31. of these three is going to be much more expensive to the company than to
  32. have the library do the work.

  34. We do inform the person who hired the consultant that the consultant has
  35. requested the work from us and frequently send a copy of the research to
  36. the employee so that we don't have situtations where the consultant is
  37. simply repackaging the library's work.
