  15.      Having acquired new multimedia equipment, we are exploring
  16. new products to run on it.  We are especially interested in
  17. packages dealing with aspects of the humanities or social
  18. sciences.  We are aware of the product line from Voyager and
  19. Warner New Media, and have consulted with the Optical Publishing
  20. Association.  (The latter told us that few computer-based were
  21. being developed for the humanities, because humanities people
  22. were very rarely computer literate.  Glad he cleared up that
  23. confusion.)
  24.      If any libraries are running multimedia products in the
  25. humanities/social sciences, involving sound, graphics, and text,
  26. or if you know of interesting new products, we'd appreciate you
  27. dropping us a line.
