- Having acquired new multimedia equipment, we are exploring
- new products to run on it. We are especially interested in
- packages dealing with aspects of the humanities or social
- sciences. We are aware of the product line from Voyager and
- Warner New Media, and have consulted with the Optical Publishing
- Association. (The latter told us that few computer-based were
- being developed for the humanities, because humanities people
- were very rarely computer literate. Glad he cleared up that
- confusion.)
- If any libraries are running multimedia products in the
- humanities/social sciences, involving sound, graphics, and text,
- or if you know of interesting new products, we'd appreciate you
- dropping us a line.
