- I have always used $pjes2,abend to shutdown my JES2 and have never
- had a problem. With a constant backlog of batch work I don't have
- an empty system when I need to IPL. I learned this from an old time
- HASPer who said 'JES2 knows how to recover'. This is with 2.2.3
