- We have many older IBM 3270 emulator boards here and they DON'T support
- EDS (extended data stream). We have a CICS termtype defined for them
- without EDS support and they work fine. The PROG471 is seen here a lot,
- specifically when a user moves a PC with one of these older boards to
- a different port.

- You may also want to check that the VTAM logmode being used doesn't
- specify EDS, or the PC may have trouble logging onto other applications
- as well.
