  13. We have many older IBM 3270 emulator boards here and they DON'T support
  14. EDS (extended data stream). We have a CICS termtype defined for them
  15. without EDS support and they work fine. The PROG471 is seen here a lot,
  16. specifically when a user moves a PC with one of these older boards to
  17. a different port.

  19. You may also want to check that the VTAM logmode being used doesn't
  20. specify EDS, or the PC may have trouble logging onto other applications
  21. as well.
