  15. I find what you are suggesting to be interesting.... but giving everyone
  16. access via technology may not be the solution.... or the solution
  17. to the wrong question.  It seems to me that the problem circles around
  18. parent involvement and communication between schools and parents (meaningful
  19. communication).  My senese is that you can use all the technology
  20. you want but nothing will change in the structural relationships between
  21. schools-teachers-parents-students..... most of the current practices build
  22. upon previous patterns of communications and power.

  24. I suggest building a strong communication system between parents and their
  25. children's teachers.. then technology becomes a manner of enhancing what
  26. already exists... remember... you must have something to say and believe that
  27. there are listeners ..... its called a voice.  Most parents don't have
  28. a voice in their childern's education.

  30. In an important way.. teacher's voices are getting softer.
