  18. Dear CSLG Customer:

  20. We have just made available a new ULTRIX offering for our CSLG customers
  21. which provides them with their ULTRIX license PAKs on media. Beginning July
  22. 21, 1992 we will begin shipping PAKs on media for all ULTRIX products that
  23. are LMF compliant. This media will be shipped along with the VMS TK50 that
  24. has always been shipping to our CSLG customers.

  26. (Please Note: CSLG customers with validated AT&T agreements will still
  27. receive paper PAKs for ULTRIX/VAX, ULTRIX/RISC, and DECshell).

  29. Unlike the VMS offering, customers will have a choice of either TK50 or
  30. magtape media for their ULTRIX PAKs. Because there is a different process
  31. being used for putting ULTRIX license PAKs on media, we are able to make
  32. this choice available. VMS license PAKs will continue to be shipped on TK50
  33. only.

  35. On request we will make the ULTRIX media available to those customers who
  36. renewed their CSLG prior to July 21, 1992. If your institution would like
  37. to receive the ULTRIX PAKs on media, please contact your Sales Rep. They
  38. will place an order for you at $0. Please remember to indicate to them
  39. whether you want your ULTRIX PAKs on TK50 or magtape. If you do not have a
  40. need for the ULTRIX PAKs on media at this time, or are renewing after July
  41. 21st we ask that you wait until your renewal, at which time you will
  42. automatically receive it.
