- We have formed a committee to review the organization of the menus
- on our Gopher service. I've circulated copies of Judy Hallman's
- paper, and we're preparing to roll up our sleeves for this task.
-
- One proposal is to have the organization of our menus mirror the
- organization of our university. I'm curious if any CWISes out
- there (Gopher or otherwise) follow this kind of scheme. A variant
- on this theme has been the proposal to have both a "functional"
- view as well as an "organizational" one.
-
- Does anyone know of any CWISes that reflect the organization of the
- campuses they serve?
-
- While I'm at it, what are your favorite CWISes out there? Personally
- I've always been impressed with MIT's Techinfo. Any others high on
- your personal list of favorites?
-
- Finally, anyone with spare time and ideas is invited to look at our
- Gopher service (gopher.msu.edu) and tell us how we ought to arrange
- things. Send me private mail if you'd care to do so.
