  12. My top coworker used to be head of circ at a large pubDDDxxx library.  She
  13. says the library would not have only one person in the entire library.
  14. Even hDx when she was a student in a library on slow Friday nights, she
  15. would be the only person at the circ desk and there would be a person in the per
  16. periodicals department.  Two people in the whole library.  Her famous words
  17. are libraries attrack perverts.

  19. I don't think that I would like to be the only person of official capacity
  20. in the entire library.  A professional staff person should be there for the
  21. sake of irate patrons.  It would be unfair to put a student who isn't
  22. paid well out at a circ desk to take all the flack.
