  15. Here at the University at Albany University Libraries, we are planning a
  16. migration to ADVANCE. For libraries now using ADVANCE who have closed there
  17. (oops, their) shelflist, I would appreciate some answers to the following
  18. questions:

  20. 1. Many of our staff are opposed to closing the shelflist. What has been the
  21. response of your staff to closing it, and how have you handled the negative
  22. responses?
  23.  
  24. 2. We add many handwritten notes to our shelflist cards, particularly for
  25. serials and sets. Have any of you found a way to get around this, i.e., have
  26. you been able to add these notes to records on ADVANCE? Please elaborate.
