  23. Look in your nearest large city (SF in your case I suspect) sunday paper's
  24. travel section.  You will find lits of tiny ads which are a list of citys and
  25. prices.  Most are overseas, but you will find some for SFO-NY at around $350.

  27. These are consolidators, who buy in bulk from the airlines and resell.
  28. Sometimes you can't get a seat selection until you get to the gate, and
  29. sometimes no FF miles.  Some don't take credit cards.  Ask.
