- How come people use "need" instead of "needs" sometimes:

- Is this a different verb (doubts), some hitherto undocumented use of the
- subjunctive mode (my guess), just a plain error, or what? Since it sounds
- fine to my ear (unless I think about it too much), I suspect something
- other than a blatant mistake.
