- Well, I was a bad boy. I had purchased only 2 CD's since January, and
- just after receiving a well deserved F in signal/system theory, I thought
- I'd celebrate by going to Tower Records and purchase a number of CD's that
- I had wanted to get. I'd thought I'd like to share my experience with you.
-
- Bolt Thrower "Realm of Chaos"
- Exhorder "Slaughter in the Vatican"
- Entombed "Left Hand Path"
- Megadeth "Countdown to Extinction"
- Pestilence "Consuming Impulse"
- Baphomet "The Dead Shall Inherit"
-
- Guess which one Really Stank. I remember somewhere about hearing that
- Megadeth's new one was supposed to musically simple. Yes, well it was
- certainly that - very simple. I should have known Megadeth was total
- bullshit as soon as I saw thet had the glossy photo close-ups (ready made for
- world-wide distribution to High School Girls) in the little book that came
- with Megadeth's last album. Sigh. Cool cover artwork though.
-
- I didn't like the Baphomet too much, it wasn't all that exciting. Too much
- groaning and not enough guitar for me, I guess.
-
- I recommend highly the other 4 albums, however.
