  16. With all the talk about "raising taxes on the upper 2% of income
  17. earners in the country", I was just wondering exactly who these
  18. people are.

  20. From Rush and Sen. Phil Gramm I have heard that the upper 2% is anyone who
  21. earns more than $86k/year.
  22.  
  23. From some Democrats I have heard that the $86k figure is wrong, and that it
  24. is actually people who earn more than $200k/year.

  26. Now that is a big difference.  I imagine that it might not be as simple as
  27. either one of the above two figures alone, but is there some sort of figure
  28. to use instead of "upper 2%"???
