  26. I'm not sure.  From what I saw when I was in school it just seems that liberals
  27. fit in better in the field and get along better with the predominantly liberal
  28. management (or at least editorial staffs) of most media outlets.  The more
  29. liberal students, with their "never trust the government" and "we must help
  30. these poor <insert cause> folks" were smiled upon by their teachers and TAs,
  31. while the more conservative students were looked at as "brainwashed by the
  32. establishment."

  34. By the way, the school in question was the University of Wisconsin - Madison,
  35. and I knew J-school students that worked for both the Daily Cardinal (far left)
  36. and Badger Herald (far right).
