  13. Hello on the net,

  15.  While buying some food today, I had two people tell me I look a lot like a
  16.  young John Lennon.  Go figure.  Still at the synchrotron for one more
  17.  night!  Got more data than I know what to do with.  Still looking for a
  18.  tall groovy woman in the area, hadn't posted for a while, so thought I'd
  19.  drop an ad while I'm waiting for the beam to come back on line.

  21.  I'm in Ithaca, NY and I don't have a car, so please bear that in mind.

  23.  On the "quick-scan" side of things, I'm really looking for a tall person;
  24.  someone over 5'9", preferably around the 6' mark.  For the longer
  25.  description, I'm looking for a tall woman who carries herself with pride
  26.  and grace, equally comfortable in cowboy boots or Birkenstocks.  An athlete
  27.  with a sense of humor and a strong curiosity.  A woman who doesn't feel
  28.  like she has to put on makeup to leave the house.  I'm looking for an
  29.  intelligent woman with a good sense of who she is and what she wants.

  31.  What I want is something that I don't believe is impossible to find:
  32.  Someone who has her own life that wants to share some of it with me as I
  33.  share some of mine with her.  Peers who respect one another, with enough
  34.  madness and adventure to find the fun in life.  Falling in love is very
  35.  romantic, yes, but just fooling around can be romantic too.  Walking through
  36.  the gorges, canoeing the wildlife refuge, holding hands in the rain, watching
  37.  the sunrise through the mists of the forests.  With mutual respect comes
  38.  trust and from that trust comes the ability to *really* enjoy one another
  39.  physically.  I enjoy exploring the limits with my partner, exchanging
  40.  passions, learning and teaching.  Please note: *anything* that isn't
  41.  consentual isn't fun.  I hope that's discrete enough for you; no offense
  42.  intended.

  44.  I'm 26, a Taurus, 6'3" 188lbs., brown hair, deep brown eyes, broad
  45.  shoulders.  I'm a woodsman and enjoy all kinds of outdoor sports except
  46.  mountain biking.  I keep myself fit and have been told I'm quite calipygian.
  47.  I like to juggle.  My musical tastes include Dvorchak (sp?), Billy Joel,
  48.  Billy Idol, Cream, Salt-n-Peppa, Bach, lots o' Bach, Makem and Clancey,
  49.  Mellissa Etheridge, Clapton, Ice Cube, Bonnie Raitt, Charlie Daniels Band,
  50.  VanHalen (old and new), and just about anything else you can imagine. 
  51.  Industrial stuff gives me heart-burn though. I'm Pro-choice, I believe in
  52.  a God-like force in the universe, but I don't care for mankind's religions
  53.  by and large.  I'm a scientist and a neophile and my sense of humor is
  54.  very broad.  I don't smoke, I don't do drugs except for beer, and I'm very
  55.  self-reliant.  Without exception, all my friends through the years who have
  56.  done drugs have told me not to try them.  The comment most often made is
  57.  "Scott, you don't need them, you're already there."  Eagle Scout from Mars,
  58.  that's me.  I'm politically pretty liberal, I care about the bigger pictures
  59.  of government, the future of the planet, and the place of humans in it all. 
  60.  I love to watch football.  My favorite way to wake up is by being kissed
  61.  by someone I care for.  I'm HIV negative and with reference to safe sex,
  62.  practice makes perfect. ;-)  I'm very loyal to my friends and I'm the best
  63.  kisser you'll ever meet.  I'm working on my PhD in Materials Science
  64.  Engineering and I'll be done by May '93.  Then I'd like to do a post-doc
  65.  in a lab doing biologically inspired materials science work.  Then maybe
  66.  teaching, maybe industry, maybe canoeing.
