  23. That's true.  Even though I'm coming to grips with the pain and guilt, it's
  24. still hard.  It's one thing to read about millions of people dying of
  25. starvation in Ethopia, or Europe, or wherever.  It's quite a different thing
  26. to stare death in the face, up close and personal.
