Hi!  I'm a female native Texan who lived in California for nine years before
moving to Columbus, Ohio (with my two cats) to become an academic.  I like
Columbus (it's a bit like Houston, but it has seasons) but I've been pretty
busy and haven't met that many new people.  (Actually, I take that back:  I've
met LOTS of nice new people at my dance studio -- when I'm not being an
academic, I do competitive ballroom dancing -- but I haven't met too many
non-studio-members.)  It'd be fun to talk to folks on e/mail for a bit, with an
eye to developing friendships and seeing what happens from there.

About me:  5'2", currently reddish hair (color varies around dance competition
time), thin but not too, myopic hazel eyes, 32.  I like dancing (virtually an
addiction), movies, plays, comedy clubs.  Don't like:  smoking, heavy drinking,
whiners (I'm pretty upbeat most of the time).  If you're in the Columbus area
