Greetings and salutations,

I'm a single male in search of inspirational single females. Since my city is
somewhat remote from the geographical focus of the Internet populace, I
anticipate email at first. However, I get around and you might be just around
the corner in any case. Also, our initial intelligent conversation _MIGHT_
transmogrify into something stronger - I'm currently without a RP/SO (Argh -
"SO" is so clinical). Before you get too far into this post, be aware that some
specifics will be deliberately inaccurate in order to promote critical appraisal
- sheep get slaughtered. Tell me what you do (not) like and why. So much for
the administrivia.

Ideally, we share many of the same traits; both those which we seek and exhibit.
You are fresh and intelligent, and apply these in your creative pursuits be they
recreational or vocational. You are likely spontaneous and seek quality,
especially quality time ("It's better to burn out than to fade away"). We are
ambitious, and aggressively pursue our goals in a professional manner. I love my
work - I'm not going to work over 8 hours a day on something I'm not fascinated
with - but I also play as hard as I work. My model workplace has been described
elsewhere as "[he] liked a contentious atmosphere, a vigorous, virile
give-and-take among himself and his crew. `Smart, opinionated and nonsensitive,
that's a Hardy Boy,' he declared.". You should seek to share your thoughts and
opinions; and to learn, develop, and expand with your RP whom you consider an
equal. I consider myself romantic, and love to cuddle with my (currently
non-existent) RP and absorb the city lights while munching on pizza. (btw, why
do most alt.personals ads sound like pizza orders?: European with a sense of
humor, extra brawn, but no anchovies thankyou.)

But don't get the idea that I'm one of the Beautiful People. Some terms with
negative connotations that might apply to me are: dark, brash, aggressive,
manic-depressive, procrastination, impatient. I am 23 years old, and an agnostic
atheist ("A person shouldn't believe in an -ism; he should believe in
himself."). Culture? Well, I'm more interested in hearing about what is in Nike
advertisements in your neck of the woods than what theatrical events are on. I'm
down-to-earth, but don't think I have my head in the sand. (This is becoming too
cliched for my liking.) I hate wearing ties - What sane person walks around
with a noose around their neck? Instead, I dress comfortably and wear sneakers
(no, not Nike). If you're after physical attributes, sorry, but I don't have any
idea of what I weigh ("average" build), and think I'm around 5'8" (175cm), but
could be 5'10". I'm conscious of environmental issues and do my best to separate
recyclable material from the remainder of my trash.

I enjoy select mainstream films. Some that come to mind are Wall Street, Blade
Runner, The Blues Brothers, Beetlejuice, Dick Tracy, Aliens, The Silence of the
Lambs, and Amadeus. My taste in music is dominated by rock, although I have had
limited exposure to, and hence an open mind towards, other styles e.g.
classical. While I like select works from a wide spectrum of sources, a random
sample of some IMHO quality artists/groups might contain Geldof, INXS, Pink
Floyd, Springsteen, U2, Mellencamp, and O'Connor. On this note, I think I'll
wind up with a piece with which I intended to start this post. Until later.
