- There is no such thing as a perfect test. The SAT's are my favorite
- example of less-than informative testing practices. But we
- must adopt some kind of reliable litmus-test to prevent obvious problems
- from happening. I agree, there is no explicit correlation between overall
- intelligence and degreed credentials. Yet it is better than some other
- possibilites. If ap.2532 discovers that the men responding are imbeciles
- with masters degrees, she may be motivated to try a different litmus
- test!
