- I guess my reading on this took me in a different course, because I've always
- attributed Raphael to Air in the East, Michael to Fire in the south, Gabriel to
- Water in the West, and Uriel to Earth in the North. For me, this goes back
- years to my first discovery of Katherine Kurtz' Deryni novels, then grew into
- ceremonies like the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. Kurtz' novels
- contain great visualisations of the Archangels, if you like a touch of the
- medieval. They're a great starting point for developing your own images.
