  19. I guess my reading on this took me in a different course, because I've always
  20. attributed Raphael to Air in the East, Michael to Fire in the south, Gabriel to
  21. Water in the West, and Uriel to Earth in the North.  For me, this goes back
  22. years to my first discovery of Katherine Kurtz' Deryni novels, then grew into
  23. ceremonies like the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.  Kurtz' novels
  24. contain great visualisations of the Archangels, if you like a touch of the
  25. medieval.  They're a great starting point for developing your own images.
