  35. My question is this:  Do these three FRP characteristics also represent an
  36. essential core of real-world magick?  With the addition of Will, are these
  37. three attributes ALL that is necessary to perform magick?

  39. It also seems to me that 1 and 3 above are inversely related.  While both
  40. represent valid sources of power, it is uncommon that both are used in the same
  41. magickal work.  If a mage has developed one attribute, the other is often seen
  42. as unnecessary.  I also question your claim that the effects of Ego based
  43. magick are less spectacular.  Since the power comes from within, the mage is
  44. allowed more complete control of the power.  This often allows the mage to ac-
  45. complish greater feats than would be possible with more uncontrolled power
  46. sources.

  48. Attribute 2 above seems to relate to the extent to which the mage acts in
  49. accordance with his/her true Will.  As such, it could vary considerably given
  50. different circumstances.  I question whether this can be expressed as an 
  51. absolute, unchanging value.

  53. There are also interesting possibilities for this framework in training
  54. students.  Each attribute can be developed independently from the others, based
  55. on the needs of the student and the predisposition of the instructor.  It
  56. helps clarify the areas in which growth can proceed.
