  14. I tried executing lemacs after doing an rlogin to a different username, but on the same node,
  15. ie 'rlogin samenode -l different_username'.  I got an error message saying that lemacs only
  16. runs under X.  Why can't I do this?  I am able to run other openwindows programs remotely, like
  17. this.  I can even run on other nodes, if I set the DISPLAY environment variable to my node.

  19. I am running on a Sun Sparc 2, and am running openwindows 3 under SunOS 4.1.1.
