- My situation is causing me to have some difficulties in running
- an IRC client. At work, all internet access is directed through
- a gateway. I have access to TELNET. FTP, and EMAIL, but I am
- unable to run other programs that use the Internet. I can however
- telnet to a VAX/VMS account I have which can run programs that use
- internet. The problem there is that I have not been able to get
- the VMS IRC Client to compile. I think I would probably need an
- executable version. In addition, I have very limited storage
- space on the VAX and it would have to be small...
-
- I understand that the TELNETable IRC Clients are for temporary use
- only, so I need to figure out how to get myself a suitable client
- running somewhere.
