  12. Hello.  I have just installed IRC (server and clients) on our
  13. machines here and have been having some trouble with delays
  14. with the irc clients.  Especially when starting up it takes
  15. a long time for the clients to get ready to join any channels.
  16.  
  17. I am not connecting to any remote servers.  I am running my own
  18. server as a chat for a small group.  Is there a setting in
  19. the ircd.conf I can set?
