  13. Please bear with me if I am in the wrong place, or using the wrong format, or
  14. WHATEVER,  <grin>  I'm fairly new here, and starting off slowly.

  16. I have a friend who would like access to the Internet.  The city he lives in
  17. has an Internet dial-in where he can directly Telnet anywhere.  Unfortunately,
  18. he has no place to Telnet to!  I need to find a system where he can manage to
  19. get a Unix shell account.  He would like to be able to run a few Unix programs,
  20. cc, ftp, irc.... etc...etc..

  22. What should be my next step in finding such a place?
