- Type 6 is not a new type, it was assigned for UU encoded files
- a while back. It seems to have been dropped from release 1.0,
- but I missed noticing that. The reason that uuencoded type
- is in this patch, which I wrote, is that on my archive, there
- are lots of encoded files, including binhex (mac) and uuencoded
- (pc, unix, vms). I generally do not know, nor does the server
- computer know, what is inside these uuencoded files. So it
- is hard to assign them as text or binary. However, uuencoded
- files could be treated as text type, if no one else wants
- to support type 6.
