  13. I've recently installed the new NEC  multimedia upgrade kit, and was wondering
  14. if I  have a  problem. Should I  be able to  place a  regular audio CD  in the
  15. CD-ROM drive, play it and have the sound come through the speakers attached to
  16. the sound board?  The sound comes through fine on  the headphones plugged into
  17. the drive  itself, but nothing via  the speakers. WAV files  come through loud
  18. and clear through the  speakers, but no "regular" audio does. Do  I have a bum
  19. cable or what? All of the relevant drivers have been installed (I think).
