- I've recently installed the new NEC multimedia upgrade kit, and was wondering
- if I have a problem. Should I be able to place a regular audio CD in the
- CD-ROM drive, play it and have the sound come through the speakers attached to
- the sound board? The sound comes through fine on the headphones plugged into
- the drive itself, but nothing via the speakers. WAV files come through loud
- and clear through the speakers, but no "regular" audio does. Do I have a bum
- cable or what? All of the relevant drivers have been installed (I think).
