  14. I am trying to find out if AutoCAD's AME 2.0 is capable of generating
  15. STL files for use with a stereolithography machine. I have a series of
  16. items that I have designed and would like to use the stereolithography
  17. machine to prototype them.  I don't have AME 2.0 yet and I am putting
  18. off getting it until I find out if it has this capability.

  20. I currently have access to IDEAS-VI from SDRC.  Does anyone know if this
  21. package can generate an STL file.  If this is the case then I will use it
  22. to generate my solid models.  I'd much rather use AutoCAD and AME if it
  23. will do what I need.  I have many more years experience with AutoCAD than
  24. with IDEAS.
