- I am looking for a CAD program for doing mask design for III-V
- compound semiconductor devices. My requirements are:
-
- 1. Should run on an HP-UX system under X windows
- 2. Should have the capability to output files in GDS2 format
- 3. Must be commerical, supported software
- 4. Must be capable of drawing circles and rings
- 5. Must be able to do non-Manhattan geometries
-
- What it does not need to do is allow for circuit simulation. My
- problem so far is that most of the good programs are developed for
- Silicon IC layout and have vast capabilities in the circuit simulation
- area which push the price to over $10K/station and which I do not
- need.
-
- I would appreciate any suggestions.
-
- Thanks!
