  15.     Thanks for all the info on running multi-line BBS's.  I still have
  16. many more though... so here it goes:

  18. 1.    How many lines can a:
  19.         386-25SX, 2 megs ram, 105Meg Hard drive
  20.         386-25SX, 4 megs ram, 105Meg Hard drive
  21.         386-33DX, 4 megs ram, 130Meg Hard Drive
  22.         486-33DX, 4 megs ram, 200Meg Hard Drive
  23.         486-50, 8 megs ram, 300Meg Hard Drive

  25.     run... just wondering.  I would be using WINDOWS NT when it comes
  26. out... as a multi-tasker.  (That is assuming it is VERY GOOD... else Windows
  27. 3.1).

  29. 2.    Does hooking up a bunch of computers in a LAN as a PEER (ie.. can
  30. be accessed and can access any computer that is hooked up to it) slow down
  31. the modems.  I mean, if I had one computer running 4 lines, and 4 other
  32. people were accessing the computer (downloading files for example), would that
  33. slow down the 4 lines hooked up to it signifigantly?
