- Outstanding Issues - Version 3.05
- =================================
-
- Black Hole is, of course, perfect. There are no bugs in it at all. There are,
- however, one or two minor deviations from might be called perfect behaviour,
- although Black Hole is perfect in all respects and these imperfections are
- actually the fault of the operating system which exhibits several areas in
- which it is incompatible with Black Hole. Wibble.
-
- 1) Those people (yes, you) who use the Module Kill>>Name menu may find that
- the sub-sub-sub menu which contains the version details for each module
- in the list looks a bit odd (it's as wide as the whole screen). I know
- about this. I know why it happens. I am not going to fix it.
- Basically, it works in RISC OS 3.5, OK, so if it annoys you, upgrade
- your machine.
-
- 2) Singularity does work quite well with SparkFS. Unless you use Spark Dirs
- as a compression method. What will happen then is that files will be
- copied in compressed format. This is not very useful but I've yet to find
- a way to stop it.
-
- 3) If you use Blackout and a new window opens while the screen is being
- saved, this window will open in front of Blackout and will not be covered
- over. Tough.
-
- 4) Singularity cannot be madge to ignore Image Filing systems, e.g. SparkFS
- or DOSFS. They do not, therefore, appear in the 'Filing Systems to Ignore,
- Add' menu. You can enter them manually, but it won't work.
-
- 5) Ukelele, the new bit, is still very experimental. Its behaviour cannot be
- predicted (unless you work it out). Try it. See what it does (but read the
- help first). Any comments, please mail/write.
