  1. All the pictures contained within this directory were created using
  2. Composition from Clares.

  4. Compo (as it is commonly known) is an image composition package currently
  5. being developed for the Acorn Risc PC Series. It is a design tool which
  6. allows the combination of 24 bit pixel based images from any source,
  7. treating each image as an individual object, to which a wide variety of
  8. effects can be applied such as drop shadow, tints or transparencies. Scaling
  9. and movement of objects is also supported, the effects applied to each
  10. object also move or scale with it.

  12. In short, Compo is an extremely powerful, yet easy to use way to create
  13. sophisticated image compositions on the Acorn Risc PC. Further, more
  14. detailed information will be provided nearer the release date of the
  15. software. In the meantime, watch Acorn press for further developments.
