Transcription: As the Nautilus service evolves, the tools we use to build Nautilus continue to evolve as well. The old way of building Nautilus included the use of a variety of hidden fields which, inherent to their nature, introduced great potential for bugs, errors and other problems. Our new system, while it does access files from outside the shell, allows for a more consistent product with fewer bugs.
