  24. The somehow muffled sound of an alarm bell ringing got me out of the cot with
  25. a bleary head.  Boss waddled into my room.
  26.  
  27. "Boss, what are you doing here?"
  28.  
  29. "Never mind, son.  We have an emergency.  A Russian spy moose has worked its
  30. way into one of the Ukrainian herds and is inciting them to random acts of
  31. sabotage.  Right now they are devouring a strategically placed farmer's
  32. field.  Your mission is to follow the windmills to the location, then use
  33. precision munitions to take out that moose.  We don't have any information as
  34. to whether it is male or female at this point, so you will just have to find
  35. it.  Due to the high priority placed on this covert action, don't be
  36. surprised to see some fighters scrambled to prevent your mission.  Remember,
  37. it is crucial to avoid damaging any of the herd other than the spy.  We don't
  38. need to give the Russians or Greenpeace any PR ammunition like that.  You
  39. will be landing on the Kiev.  Any questions?"

  41. It sounded pretty strange, but then again, this was Boss.  "Can I get dressed
  42. first?"

  44. "No time, son, get out there now!"

  46. I found myself standing next to a beautiful F-22.  Caressing its sleek lines
  47. as I walked around the plane, I remembered the disdainful faces of the pilots
  48. in their F-22s yesterday.  Boy would I show 'em!  I'll tell you something,
  49. though.  Those seats and belts are not made for bare skin.
