  1. The version of the tiff2ps tool (in version 3.3beta) is able to preserve
  2. LZW compression into a PostScript level 2 file using the /LZWDecode filter.

  4. Unfortunately, it only works for monochrome images with a min-is-black
  5. photometric.
  6.  
  7. Has anyone done any work to preserve the LZW compression in grayscale, RGB and
  8. palette color images as well?
