  26. Purpose
  27. -------------
  28. The purpose of this application was to enable the user to 
  29. download files which are attached to web pages, but
  30. WITHOUT having to click on each link/file individually to 
  31. save them. Instead a list of available files is created, 
  32. and all/selected files can be downloaded.

  34. IT IS NOT a program to store web sites on your local drive, 
  35. use something like Web Whacker for that. This is just an 
  36. easy way to download multiple files from a HTML page on 
  37. a web server.

  41. Platform Requirements
  42. --------------------------------
  43. The application requires a PC running Windows NT4 or 
  44. Win95/98. Currently the application is only available for 
  45. the Intel platform.

  48. TCP/IP or be connected through your LAN, again using 
  49. TCP/IP
