  14. VGRAF is used to  view  graphic  files  on  the mach8 and mach32
  15. based video adapters. TARGA  (tm)  and  Autodesk  Animator FLI and FLC
  16. formats are supported.
  17.  
  18. TARGA files in  8,  16  and 24 bit formats can be viewed. This program
  19. exploits  deep  color  modes  on  the  mach32. The TARGA files may be
  20. Color-Mapped, True Color, uncompressed or RLE compressed. When viewing
  21. files on the mach8, only an 8-bit display mode is available.

  23. The optimal display resolution  and  best pixel depth is automatically
  24. selected upon  requesting  a  file  be  viewed using the Enter key. To
  25. explicitly set a viewing  mode,  press  the F2 key to call up the mode
  26. selection menu. Make a choice from this menu, and then press the Enter
  27. key to view the file at  the  specified resolution. After the image is
  28. displayed  (a  beep  occurs  when  this  is completed), these keyboard
  29. functions are active:

  31.   Up         = Pan up
  32.   Down       = Pan down
  33.   Left       = Pan left
  34.   Right      = Pan right
  35.   PgDn       = Pan 1/3 screen down
  36.   PgUp       = Pan 1/3 screen up
  37.   Ctrl+Left  = Pan 1/3 screen to left
  38.   Ctrl+Right = Pan 1/3 screen to right
  39.   Esc        = Return to file selecton menu

  41. Image panning is available only  when the selected image resolution is
  42. larger than the viewing mode resolution.

  44. Autodesk Animator FLI or  FLC files  may also be viewed. The animation
  45. is run in 640x480 mode, with the image centered on the screen if it is
  46. smaller. The animation selected repeats automatically. While a FLI or
  47. FLC file is being viewed, the following keyboard functions are active:
  48.  
  49.   +          = Increases the  frame  rate  if  the Frame speed control
  50.                (F9) is toggled on
  51.   -          = Slows the frame  rate  if  the Frame speed control (F9)
  52.                is toggled on
  53.   F8         = Resets the frame rate value altered by the + and - keys
  54.   F9         = Frame speed control (toggles on and off);  when toggled
  55.                on (the default),  the frame speed delay value is used;
  56.                when toggled off, this value is ignored
  57.   F10        = Single frame step mode (toggles on and off) - the SPACE
  58.                bar advances the frame when this mode is on
  59.   Esc        = Return to file selection menu
