OCR: MAKING AN IMAGE TILEABLE The original 256x64 tile (four 64 x 64 sections) This is what the image would look like if it were tiled together in your map. Notice the seam in the image - this isn't acceptible if you want your environment to look real. The first method to make the image tileable would be to mirror the tile and place them end to end. Edited area The second method to make the image tileable is to manually edit the seam, using colors from the surrounding areas and softening the modifications where needed. Edited area In the second case, a new 256x64 area is clipped from the new image, ensuring that the area where the modifications were made is included in the clip. This is your new, tileable image.
