  20.         PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
  21.  
  22.              TINYPROG  converts  EXE and COM programs to a  smaller  file
  23.         size. TINYPROG compresses most programs from 10% to 30%.   Before
  24.         it  runs, the compressed program thoroughly verifies that it  has
  25.         not  been  tampered  with  or  accidentally  changed.    Software
  26.         developers  may include easily patched, un-compressed  data  with
  27.         their TINYPROG'ed programs.

  29.              When  run with no command line arguments, TINYPROG  explains
  30.         how  you  may use it.  A command line option  tells  TINYPROG  to
  31.         print its own documentation to the screen or to a file.

  38.         programs than their disks will hold.

  54.         FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM WITH RESPECT TO OTHERS:

  56.              TINYPROG produces significantly smaller files than  EXEPACK.
  57.         Plus,  corrupted TINYPROG'ed programs generally quit  gracefully,
  58.         rather than locking up the machine.

  60.              TINYPROG gives the program developer an area in the  program
  61.         file that is as easy to patch as if the program were a COM file.

  65.         PROGRAM LIMITATIONS:

  67.              TINYPROG will not convert:

  69.                   DOS.
  70.                   COMMAND.COM
  71.                   Programs with internal overlays.
  72.                   Programs that configure themselves by writing data back
  73.                        into the program file.  Such programs must  either
  74.                        be made TINYPROG-aware by the program's author, or
  75.                        they   may  not  be  re-configured   after   being
  76.                        TINYPROG'ed.

  80.         MACHINE REQUIREMENTS:

  82.              TINYPROG  requires  DOS  2.X or above and  100k  of  program
  83.         memory.   Generally, TINYPROG'ed programs require nothing  beyond
  84.         the requirements of the original program.
