  1. You must install Messenger by using the program INSTALL.EXE before it
  2. will run.  The install program will also upgrade Messenger from a previous
  3. version to version 1.1.  Read page 2 and 3 of the Messenger manual  
  4. MSNGR.DOC for complete installation instructions.

  6. The document QSETUP.TXT is a quick set up instruction guide which includes 
  7. setting Messenger up with four popular mail readers.  More complete 
  8. instructions are in the Messenger manual MSNGR.DOC.
  9.  
  10. Messenger comes with a limited number of taglines to save downloading
  11. time.  To quickly add to your collection of taglines you can check your
  12. local BBS and their shareware CDROMS for some of the many public domain
  13. collections, or if you send $5.00 (U.S. funds only) to cover shipping 
  14. and handling as listed below, you will be sent over 10,000 taglines in
  15. ASCII text files.  These files are organized by topic ready to import
  16. into their respective categories.  Some taglines may contain vulgar 
  17. language or deal with objectional or controversial subject matter, so
  18. this offer is only available to those over 18 years old.  Please specify
  19. either 3.5 or 5.25 disks.  These files come on HD disks only.
