  20. Well It's not 4.30, 5.00, 6.00, and today I even recieved a 6.01 version
  21. with a claimed "bug-fix".

  41. Yesterday, I received an upgrade notice from TheSoft Programming Services,
  42. announcing the latest release of THEDRAW (Version 4.50).  For the benefit
  43. of ANSI ART Echo members, here is a reprint of that notice:

  46.             TheDraw v4.50 is now available!
  47.  
  48. This latest release adds greatly to previous versions.  The newest
  49. features include ANSI/ASCII Fonts, vastly improved Undo/Restore support,
  50. some revisions to the user interface, and several bug fixes.  The
  51. animation scan menu now offers a direction "flip" toggle.  Flipping an
  52. animation scan exchanges the vertical coordinates top-to-bottom.  Anyone
  53. familiar with reversed scans will find this a valuable addition.
  54. Combining these animation options yields almost 60 different possible
  55. patterns.

  57. The last two releases of TheDraw (v.4.00 and v.4.01) have been subject
  58. to illegal modifications by certain individuals.  Long time users may
  59. be aware of copies reading as versions 4.30, 5.00 or 6.00).  These are
  60. merely the previous releases with altered version numbers.  Important
  61. areas in TheDraw are now encrypted to discourage further "hacking."
  62.  
  63. Annoyance problems with ANSI and QuickBasic file formats have been
  64. resolved.  Validity of file formats have been resolved.  Minor glitches
  65. with screen refresh and general program operation were fixed.

  67. To upgrade to version 4.50, simply mail this card to the address below
  68. along with $7.00 ($5 upgrade fee plus $2 shipping/handling).  Please do
  69. not send your current registered diskette with this offer (as normally
  70. requested).
