  3. Ever wanted a stock-market-like display in an ANSI file? ( No? jeesh, I spent 3
  4. hours on this program *WAH* ) - well, this is it.
  5.  
  6. ANSIBar comes in 2 types - 8086, and '286 instruction set.. if you have an 8086
  7. and run AB286 then you can expect your system to crash horribly.
  8.  
  9. Usage AB8086 INFILE.EXT OUTFILE.EXT.. that's it.. it ( for convenience ) makes
  10. the file a 1-line file so that it won't pause in BBS's like TAG, Telegard, WC!,
  11. QBBS if there is a pause turned on.. however, if you have to change it to more
  12. lines ( for BBSs like Spitfire ) you can easily edit the file using TheDraw 4.0.
  13. However, no previous versions will work - being as how ANSIBAR files are
  14. listed VIA Pascal as sometimes a string[90345] - with no string information.

  16. ANSIBAR, if not the only, is definatly the fastest ANSI creator I have ever
  17. written <Grin>.. Here's a time graph showing the differances between ANSIBar
  18. and all others:

  20. ANSIBAR   20k input - OP 8 seconds
  21. Evolution 20k input - 2 - 3 trillion years to evolve sentient life forms to 
  22.                       write the software.
  23. TheDraw   User input - Total time 4-5 hours ( if you type fast )

  25. By running this software, you agree not to hold Paul King ( dat's me ) liable,
  26. responcible, guilty of ANY problems that occur on your system .. if you're 
  27. running this for the first time, I suggest you run a program like Flu_Shot+
  28. to make sure the file hasn't been modified, or contains harmfull code.

  30. During execution, if for some reason you want to stop ( like you figured out
  31. the file you're doing would come to a meg or so, and you don't want to wait for
  32. it to end ), whack the spacebar.
