║ USING A MOUSE WITH MT ║
╚════════════════════════════════╝
Although a mouse is not required to run MT, using one greatly speeds menu
selections and editing functions. These instructions apply to the Microsoft
and Logitech mice. Similar programs/loaders exist for other mice.
You will need the programs MOUSE.COM and MENU.EXE to load the mouse driver.
If these are on your default drive (or if you have set a DOS PATH to the mouse
driver subdirectories on a hard disk) the following steps will set up the
mouse and then run MT (C: is shown as the default drive).
C:>MOUSE <- Loads the mouse driver
C:>MENU SIMPMOUS <- Loads the SIMPMOUSE menu (MT disk)
C:>MT <- Runs MT, mouse functions will work
SIMPMOUS has the left mouse button mapped to the return key, and the right
button mapped to ESC. Move the cursor by moving the mouse and use the left
button to make a selection. Use the right button to escape to higher level
menus. Repeatedly hitting the right button will allow you to exit MT.
Hit any key to exit this screen.
