- 1. Computer specification

- The minimum system configuration is:

- IBM or Compatible PC running DOS and Windows 3.x software
- 386SX 25Mhz Processor
- 4Mb RAM
- SVGA Monitor
- Graphics Card (capable of 256 colours or more)
- Hard Disk Drive
- 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- 8Bit Windows Compatible Sound Card
- Speakers

- (It is possible to run the programs without a sound card, if you have
- an internal speaker software driver installed on your system, but this
- is NOT reccommended).

- The ideal system configuration is:

- 486SX 25Mhz Processor (or above)
- 8Mb RAM (or above)
- SVGA Monitor
- Graphics Card with 1Mb of VRAM (or above)

- 16Bit Windows Compatible Sound Card

- 2. Running the program
-
- To launch the program double click the icon in the Interactive Guitar Group,
- within Windows Program Manager.

- Depending on your system configuration:
-
- a. Load times will vary.
-
- b. Initially there may be slight delays when clicking on buttons, however,
- once the program has completely loaded into memory there will be no delays
- and the program will work normally.

- 3. What to do if the program doesn't run.
-
- In the unlikely event that the program will not run:
-
- 1. Make sure you have an 8 or 16bit sound card fitted to your computer.
-
- 2. Make sure the software drivers that came with your sound card are
- INSTALLED and CONFIGURED correctly.
-
- 3. Make sure that you do not have any other conflicting sound drivers
- installed.
-
- 4. Make sure that no other add on cards are using the same settings.
-
- 5. Some video drivers are not completely compatible with Windows, if
- you experience screen redraw problems, try using either Super VGA
- (640x480, 256 colors) or Super VGA (800x600, 256 colors) drivers
- that are supplied with Windows 3.11. If you need help refer to your
- MS Windows User Guide.
