Transcription: In 1947, Mohammed, a young Bedouin goat herder, threw a stone into a cave near Qumran. The stone hit something and thinking it was treasure, he scrambled inside the cave and found some vases. Their contents turned out to be fragments of four manuscripts, more precious in the end than the gold Mohammed hoped for, and the Judeo-Christian world has not been the same since.
