  1. DESCRIPTION:
  2. PeakJet is a browser accelerator, it works with Netscape 2.0 or later and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later.  PeakJet  runs on Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.

  4. INSTALLATION:
  5. To install PeakJet, unzip pj156.zip into a temporary directory.  Then run pj156.exe, which is a self-extracting install program.  It installs several files in the directory the user chooses during installation, the default directory is C:\PeakJet.  PeakJet makes an entry in Local_Machine\Software\Peak Technologies in the Windows Registry.  The PeakJet install also runs the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine installation program, which copies the following files to the Windows\System directory (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ on Windows 95, C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\ on Windows NT 4.0):
