- Internet Connection Wizard does not automatically configure ISDN devices
- -------------------------------------------------
- Internet Connection Wizard does not automatically configure ISDN devices. However,
- you can use an ISDN to automatically get a new Internet account using ICW if
- your ISDN device is correctly configured before starting ICW. In addition,
- ISDN is only supported on nationwide access numbers in the following countries:

- - Canada
- - France
- - Germany
- - Japan
- - United Kingdom
- - United States

- KNOWN ISSUES-WINDOWS NT SERVER AND WINDOWS NT WORKSTATION ONLY

- Dial-Up Networking must be started manually
- -------------------------------------------
- For your Internet connection to work properly after completing the
- Internet Connection Wizard, you may need to dial your Internet
- service provider using Dial-Up Networking (DUN).
-
- To start Dial-Up Networking:
-
- 1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Dial-Up Networking.
-
- 2. In the Phone Book Entry To Dial list, click the name of your service provider.
-
- 3. Click Dial.
-

- ICW is not installed if Network is missing (Windows NT Server and Workstation only)
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- You must have installed the Network control panel on your computer before ICW will
- be installed.
-
- -Install the Network control panel from your Windows NT installation disks or compact disc,
- and then reinstall ICW.

- ICW will not reconfigure Remote Access Service (RAS) if it has been incorrectly installed
- ----------------
- ICW will not reconfigure RAS if it has been incorrectly installed, with broken or missing
- RAS devices.

- To install RAS devices:
-
- 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

- 2. Double-click Network.
-
- 3. Click the Services tab.
-
- 4. If Remote Access Service is already installed, in the Network Services list, click
- it and then click Remove.

- 5. Click Add.
-
- 6. Follow the instructions on your screen for installing Remote Access Service.
