  9. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  10. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  11. agreement signed by Kevin Moore your use of this software
  12. you indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  13. and warranty.

  15. Registered Version

  17. One registered copy of SOLO may either be used by a single
  18. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  19. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  20. multiple people, but not both.
  21.  
  22. You may access the registered version of SOLO through a network,
  23. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  24. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  25. through the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations
  26. will access SOLO on the network, each workstation must have its
  27. own SOLO license, regardless of whether they use SOLO at
  28. different times or concurrently.

  32. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom

  34. Disclaimer of Warranty

  36. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  37. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  38. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the
  39. various hardware and software environments into which SOLO may
  40. be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
  41. OFFERED.

  43. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  44. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  45. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  46. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  47. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  51. Evaluation and Registration

  53. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  54. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 21
  55. days.  If you use this software after the 21 day evaluation period
  56. a registration fee of รบ45 is required.  Payments must be in UK
  57. Sterling drawn on a UK bank, and should be sent to Kevin Moore

  60. Credit card ordering and quantity discounts are available, as described
  61. in the section Ordering Information/Order Form.  When payment is
  62. received you will be sent a registered copy of the latest version
  63. of SOLO.

  65. Unregistered use of SOLO after the 21-day evaluation period is
  66. in violation of U.K. and international copyright laws.

  68. Distribution

  70. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  71. Version (select About from the SOLO Help menu to check) you are
  72. hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of
  73. this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  74. the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  75. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  76. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  77. of the above.

  79. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  80. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  81. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
